Add a headhardware vs software

Hardware: Hardware: Physical components: Hardware is the physical appliance and machine that compose a computer system (e.g., keyboard, monitor, CPU, hard drive). Tangible: You can physically touch and see hardware.

Fixed in form: Hardware is, in general, harder to change than it is software. Function: It does the fundamental tasks of a computer system, such as data processing, data storage, and data output. Examples: Motherboard, RAM, CPU, printers, hard drives. Software: Software: Intangible programs: Software contains applications, data, and programs which are executed on hardware (e.g., system software, application software, games).

Non-physical: Because software is not directly touchable, it is code but it is executed by the hardware. Flexible: Software can be easily updated, changed, or replaced. Function: It controls hardware, how to carry out particular functions and processes.

Examples: Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, mobile apps.
